Revure

New mobilities services startup

Company and first step

Revure, with the goal of simplifying the transition to electric cars, targets middle-aged individuals in the United States who are interested in adopting new mobility solutions but are concerned about costs, technology, maintenance, and ease of use. Following research to better understand the target audience, I initiated the development of the brand identity, shaping a unique and reassuring brand personality.

Naming

The task was to develop a name that reflected the company’s mission: “Helping people transition to new mobility.” After thorough brainstorming and evaluating various options, I found two words that represent perfectly the brand’s mission: evolve and secure. Blending creatively these two terms, the name “Revure” was born.

Visual identity

I created the logo following the concepts of ‘evolve’ and ‘secure.’ The idea consists of combining classic forms, such as the circle, with new and unconventional ones, like a warped circle. The warped circle represents the new approach to mobility, while the classic circle signifies the safety guaranteed by the brand. The logo is tilted to evoke the dynamism of a brand enthusiastic about new forms of mobility, such as electric cars and flying vehicles.

The logomark is paired with a wordmark featuring tweaked ‘e’ letters, which, alongside the ‘r,’ can be interpreted as a charging station with a cable, suggestive and evocative of new mobility technologies.

The color palette revolves around the main color: energetic light blue, symbolizing dynamism and fluidity, paired with various shades of blue. Red and yellow complete the palette and are used when there is a need for variety and highlighting.

The typeface used for the wordmark, “New Order,” is also employed in headings, paired with “Acumin Pro” for sub-headings, body text, and citations.

Classic geometric elements, such as squares or rectangles are incorporated into all graphic compositions that represent new mobilities, aligning with the concept introduced in the logo: the pairing of futuristic elements with classic and safefy-inspiring shapes.
